Personal Lease

For personal lease, the following are the initial payment which the client needs to prepare

  • Booking fee (which will be used as 1st month rent) – 1 month’s rental equivalent
  • Security Deposit – 1 to 2 months’ rental equivalent (depending on the length of the lease)
  • Stamp Duty Fee – borne by the tenant
  • Realtor’s commission (for rent below S$4000) – one month’s rental equivalent

Documents required

  • EP Approval document
  • Copy of Passport
It is recommended to open a bank account in Singapore. This will help to facilitate the payment without delay when a property is identified.
